Modification which we need to do on car:
1. Suspension
Front suspension: additional lift. Rear suspension: longer,
more pliant leaf springs fitted, with heavy duty long travel
bump stops and specially tuned shock absorbers.
2. Wheels and tyres
The best off-road tyres BF Goodrich Roxk G1 235/85/16 on OZ felly with two spare tyres.
3. Engine
Upgraded 320 KM 3.5 l engine is already made for the use in Sahara. The only modification needed is for it to have 100 Ah power and additional
300 l petrol container to enlarge the total capacity to 375 l.
4. Power transmission
The vehicle already has a serial differential built in, but it needs to be adjusted to suit Sahara conditions.
5. Bodywork
Amplified mudguards, engine and container protection are already built in. We will also build in coll cage and two racing seats. At the front, we will place additional headlights for night driving. Xenon lights on the roof and a car boot for a spare wheel.
6. Extra equipment
We neeed additional 2 Garmin 276c GPS navigation systems, Thuraya satellite phone, VHF two-way radio station, electricity transformator from 12 V to 220 V, MAG-LITE battery...
